We also have a wide range of experience in the field of acoustics. Successfully processed projects reach from hearing aids to household appliances, construction machines, vehicles of all kinds and ship engines. Sulzer Innotec has one of the largest acoustic laboratories in Switzerland including an anechoic room (50 m2), a reverberation chamber and a facility to measure acoustic transmission. A large stock of measurement equipment enables us to perform experiments in the laboratory, at the customers test facility or in the field.

| Development of recommendations and countermeasures |

Our aim is to measure, analyse and interpret the results in order to derive recommendations to solve the existing problems. Thanks to our extensive knowledge in machinery danymics we are able to develop optimal solutions to eliminate noise problems at the source, rather than simply install bulky noise barriers. In addition to experimental methods tools for numerical simulations are als available.
