The system describes both the value-adding and the supporting processes, in compliance with international standards EN ISO 9001:2000 and EN ISO 14001, on the basis of SA 8000 and the Sulzer Safety Regulations which conform to the EKAS 6508 guidelines.

The most important elements of this system are derived from the tasks which are grouped together in the process architecture shown below.

The management system is structured according to the process architecture. It begins by describing order acquisition and handling, as the added-value processes between the customers and partners. The innovation and incubation process is fed by ideas from the technologies - this process too will generate customer benefits through sales and licensing. The supporting management processes are strategic marketing, finances and controlling, together with human resources (HR) and communication. The main management process describes all the sub-processes used to control and continuously improve the company. The process "Technologies" not only regulates knowledge management, as the basis of the overall structure of Innotec, but also our own development of new technologies and products within Sulzer Innotec.

The Service and Production division is accredited and certified in these areas:

• mechanical and non-destructive testing of metals and plastics
• calibration centre for length as a measured variable
• training centre for welders and solderers
