Welcome to the SSB

The Swiss Society for Biomaterials (SSB) welcomes you to its home page. The SSB is the assembly of people in Switzerland working or interested in the field of biomaterials, be it on the industrial or the university level. Our Charter and Bylaws describe the goals of our Society. We welcome everybody interested in the wide field of biomaterials to join our Society and to participate in our meetings. The SSB is officially affiliated with the European Society for Biomaterials.

ESB2009

The Swiss Society for Biomaterials will host ESB2009 (The annual conference of the European Society for Biomaterials) from September 7th - 11th, 2009 in Lausanne. Each day one of the four parallel sessions will follow a theme of the day from Industrial/Technological Theme (Tuesday), Vascular Intervention (Wednesday), Spine (Thursday) and Infection (Friday). There will be both pre-meeting and during the meeting workshops in specific areas and lots of opportunity to interact with both clinicians and industry. We count on 'you', our members and sponsors to help support us with this meeting. Paid up members of SSB receive reduced registration rates.
